All services are subject to separate written agreements that will specify project scope, timeline, pricing, and specific terms applicable to your renovation project.

User Obligations

Quotations and Pricing

• Exclusive of VAT unless specifically stated otherwise
• Based on the specifications and requirements provided at the time of quotation

Pricing may be subject to variation due to:

• Changes in material costs or availability
• Modifications to project scope or specifications
• Unforeseen site conditions or complications
• Additional work requested by the client

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in individual project agreements. Generally:

• A deposit may be required before work commences
• Progress payments may be requested at agreed milestones
• Final payment is due upon completion and acceptance of work
• Late payment charges may apply to overdue accounts

We reserve the right to suspend work if payments are not made according to agreed terms.

Intellectual Property

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velmorar's liability is limited as follows:

• Our total liability for any project shall not exceed the total contract value
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
• We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control
• We are not liable for pre-existing conditions discovered during renovation work

This limitation does not apply to:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability that cannot be excluded by law

Force Majeure

Velmorar shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, labour disputes, material shortages, or pandemic-related restrictions.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By using our services, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage resolution of disputes through direct communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally:

• Disputes may be referred to mediation before pursuing legal action
• Legal proceedings must be commenced within 2 years of the dispute arising
• Small claims may be pursued in the appropriate local court
• Larger disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Amsterdam courts

Termination

These terms remain in effect until terminated. Termination may occur:

• By mutual agreement between parties
• By either party with reasonable notice for convenience
• Immediately by Velmorar for breach of these terms
• Upon completion of all contracted services

Termination does not affect accrued rights and obligations, warranties, or provisions intended to survive termination.
